We are the Danish-Ukrainian manufactory Bohachevska and Jensen (or BO•JE).
Our first prototype was inspired by a passionate desire to create a reliable, practical and stylish piece of craft, which would serve us and the next generations of our family!
The philosophy of long-lasting design and handicraft wooden goods is close to us. Therefore we create furniture from clean, durable material, the premium quality and attractiveness of which will remain unchanged over time.
We believe that a modern person is in need of a functional, ecological space. Combining old traditions and contemporary interior design we found a way to create it!
Carpathian oak solid wood, safe materials and the Scandinavian design aesthetics… These are the components we have combined in each product of our collections.

We carry out each stage of production — from the choice of wooden boards to the coating of finished products.

Only wood
Before it comes to serve people, oak wood takes hundreds of years to accumulate hardness. Therefore, solid oak is an extremely durable material - even in harsh, aggressive conditions it copes better than concrete. In interiors, its durability is measured by centuries. Our ancestors may well bear witness to it. No wonder that oak is considered to be fine wood.
For these exceptional properties, as well as for the unique natural pattern of the surface, we accept the complex nature of the Carpathian oak and appreciate the opportunity to prolong its life in the products of BO.JE. If only oak could speak, it would definitely express its gratitude for that.
Coating
Although Carpathian oak is a durable material, we still make a point of preparing it for long-term usage. To preserve the natural color and texture of oak furniture for decades, we apply oil wax of the German company Remmers or traditional Danish product Guardian Soap Flakes based on palm and coconut oil.
Remmers coating prevents aggressive liquids from penetrating into the wood structure, thus preserving its color and pattern. The product is certified according to European standards, which attests to its absolute safety for human health.
Guardian Soap Flakes spread is an eco product without a hint of synthetics, which was tested in Danish Technological Institute and awarded The Indoor Climate Label. The coated surface becomes soft and silky as velvet antlers.

Individual production
We want to help you make your dream come true. Yours are ideas and details, ours is technical documentation. As soon as the project is agreed upon, your unique idea is implemented according to BO.JE quality standards.
- Idea. You’ve got a vision of your ideal furniture. So, order a consultation and we will help you implement it.
- Agreement. In accordance with your measurements and wishes, we will make a design draft, as well as an approximate calculation of the product price.
- Upfront fee. We sign a contract, receive an upfront fee equal to 50% of the product price and get to work.
End product. You receive a ready-made piece of furniture by any shipping method which is convenient for you.
The final settlement is upon receipt of the end product. Shipping within Ivano-Frankivsk is free. Shipping to other regions - for an additional fee, agreed with you.
